This is part of a wall that used to stand in Budapest in memory of those who died in the 1956 revolution. Those people were seen as enemies of the state in the days of the Warsaw pact, but since independence from Russia their part in Hungarian history has been re-evaluated and they are now openly remembered as national heros.
