The exit at St Laurent on Omaha beach. This is about 2 or 3 miles west of the American cemetary at Colville-sur-mer. This was one of the worst places to be an American soldier on D day, the heaviest casulaties were suffered here as the town itself was defended very heavily by crack German troops.
