We were told that the redness of the rock has been worn away over the years in which people have climbed up this route. It is pretty steep and the only aid to climbing it a
chain bolted to the face. No one in our group attempted the climb.

| This is the climbing route up Uluru. The information board at the bottom informs travellers that although they are allowed to climb it, the local people would rather you didn't.
