Somme and Ypres battlefields, 21/04/2006 - 23/04/2006.

A well-lit shot of the Menin gate in Ypres. The gate is one of many through the walls of Ypres, it was rebuilt after the war and had the names of 60,000 fallen British and Commonwealth soldiers etched within its walls. The 'Last Post' is played every evening at the gate, a ceremony that is organised and paid for by the people of Ypres, who are forever grateful and remembering of the sacrifices made in the name of their freedom.
